it basically is just a webpage in an app. personally ill be using m.aib.ie.

why is that easier than just clicking on a "app"? Is the mobile site more fully featured than the "app" I did download it, but might not bother keeping it if its just a pared down mobile site.

I'll be using the mobile website because the app adds an unnecessary level of complexity. There are good reasons to use apps. They can do things that can't be done with websites and they can make things much more convenient by cutting out unnecessary steps but an app adds a lot of potential problems. This app doesn't do anything that a bookmark can't but it can crash much more easily than a website can.
