Insulation - worth insulating bottom half of wall?

I am living in a 3 bed semi and unfortunately we have cavity blocks in the majority of the house so cavity wall insulation is not possible. We have been told however that the bottom part of the front of the house can be pumped as this is a brick wall with a cavity.

Is it worth my while getting just this part of the wall done? I am also getting the Attic insulated but would like to know if there is any point in doing just part of the wall.

I wouldn't imagine so. What's the point in only getting part of a wall done when you will be loosing heat out of the rest. I external or internal insulation not an option?

Employ an engineer. A plumbing and heating forum is hardly the source of information you'll need for this job.
