iPad 1st gen 'memory available' question!

    Ive got an ipad recently but i have a question regarding the memory being used/available.

    I have it jailbroken with jailbreakme.com and have sbsettings installed,with sbsettings it displays the memory left/available in the very top of the screen.
    Its no more than 100mb Available with no apps open and aswell after restarting the ipad,this isnt normal is it?
    Have i something hogging the memory in the background?
    I have "free up memory" in processes in sbsettings tried but no more memory comes available really.
    Any ideas?
    Could it be a tweak from cydia like browser changer,lockdown pro,cydelete?
    In comparison my iphone 4 when just turned on has around 350mb available,less when stuff is running obviously.
