Don't have an ipod, I normally download them as mp3 file, you're right about the ultra stuff, I tune straight out of that and last weeks was a right yawn fest.
But is the site working for you?

    I can access the site.

You don't necessarily need an iPod to listen to it from iTunes. I think you can just download it from iTunes and then copy it onto your device whatever way you normally do. Assuming your device can play the format.

working now for mp3 (avoid them overpriced/restricting apple devices)

I think Apple removed the rights restriction on stuff downloaded/purchased from iTunes so it should work on any device that can play the file format.

Woddle - MarathonTalk have changed their site to one that you need to register in order to access, could this be causing the problems? i.e. if you're going directly to a sub-page via a shortcut, you might need to go via the homepage instead.

BTW - This week's interview with Scott Overall is excellent and well worth listening to.

Yes, this may be an issue too. If you have set up some sort of shortcut to where the episodes are, it may have changed due to their site being different. I just checked there now though and I don't think you need to register to be able to download the podcast though.

I just typed in www.marathontalk.com and it went there no problems.

Thanks Peckham/Gmoney but I've tried it all sorts of ways and I just can't connect to their site.
Thanks again gmoney, I downloaded it via itunes, takes alot longer though so I'm still going to try and figure out the issue, I tried deleting cookies..no good.

So weird, it's working fine for me. Are you at work? Some companies can have weird funky internet settings that can block you or prevent you from accessing sites, sometimes inadvertently. Did you try using a different web browser to access the site?

Hmmm. I guess you could clear out the cache and temporary internet files etc by using the feature in Internet Explorer options. Just be careful though in-case you have some auto-login thing enabled on a site as deleting those may make you login again. Not a problem, unless you can't remember your username/password for a particular site.
