Not 'corporate' enough?

Had someone tell me that I was getting a job for this reason. What exactly does that phrase mean? Being 'corporate' sounds very sinister to me! It almost sounds as if you have a brain and they're fearful what you might do with it! If that is the case then I'm glad! Maybe somebody can enlighten me as to what exactly it means?

Corporate is more an American saying. Ground workers look at the rest of the business as been corporate or corporate make the decisions. So they are saying that you don't have enough experience to fit into there corporate side of things.

If someone tells you you arent corporate enough i would take that as you being too individual, not wearing the right clothes or having the right attitude.
