Faced with Death

I know there is a closed thread below.. And I know Jobs was not a Christian.

But I have always found this quote a great wake-up call to be something in life (for me to be more Christian)

“Almost everything–all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure–these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

RIP Jobs wherever you are... (I have one sin... I over indulge on apple products pure tech-art!!)

*** So lets look at Death and how we as Christians affront it.. (Not a JOBS THREAD PER SE)

I just bought 'THE LAST FOUR THINGS' for my kindle, and will read it after I finish my current book! I also discovered that you can read the book online!

    http://www.catholictradition.org/Classics/4last-things.htm

Death, Judgement, Heaven and Hell, the first two is a certainty for all, the 2nd two a certainty for some!

Where is that quote, ie book and page

'Start with the end in mind' holds the thought well too

    Its a Hindu/Buddhist Quote

both Religion(Way of Life) drill into the mind of a person that from the Moment you are born to the first breath you take you are ever closer to Death..

to understand Death means to understand Life and how to find happiness from not outside but inside our self's.

    Thanks Cork24,
I know in general it has a spiritual nature to it but I thought it was a quote from Steve Job's in the context of what Alex73 was saying. Where are you Alex :-) we need your clarification.
    Thanks again Cork24,
