Engine causing car to vibrate

Hey, my Ford Mondeo LX 1.8 is vibrating when the engine is ticking over, it was recently serviced, only a few hundred miles ago.

    A few things to not
The vibrations started after a long evening of delivering pizza's, i was in a low gear going slowly enough and the whole car vibrated, i thought the steering column broke, but that was just a panic thought, the engine cut out, i restarted it and it ran fine until i got home.

It's been idle outside my house for quite some time now, over a month, every time the engine is idling, it vibrates in the same way, all the electronics are wonky aswell. Like the speedo keeps spiking and so does the rev meter. The battery did go flat, but i jumped it and the same problem.

My friend who is handy with cars mentioned it could be the coil pack, the unit that control the spark plugs, but i wanted to make sure that it couldn't be something else, so hence the post. I'll be replacing the part myself.

Could well be sparkplug or coil related !

Some engines are so quiet that a misfire can appear to be just a vibration.

Check the sparkplugs, it could just be one of them. Plenty of articles on d'web on how to narrow down which plug or coil is at fault... give me a shout if you can't find one
