    Hi,

I have a Zanussi ZWF 1011W which started rattling a few washes ago.

Now the drum doesn't spin at all.

I can hear the motor, so it sounds like it's trying to spin the drum, but no movement at all.

Any thoughts? It's may be 5 years old, is it it worth a go at repairing?

    Thanks,

    DFD.

If you can here the motor it's likely the belt is off or broken, but it could be off because the Death rattle was in fact the main bearing and depending on the length of time you've had "the rattle" it could be time for the last rights.
