hi have you checked the base of the item for a makers stamp / signature .its obvious oriental but tons of re productions flooded europe in the 60.s

their is a stamp on the bace you can see it in the second photo thats all that is on it

I had one very similar some years ago..its a chinese mass-market resin statue pretending to be a japanese ivory statue.
