    Hi all,

I'm looking for some info on the cheapest car auctions around. Basically I want to off load a car that's probably worth e1200 but don't want the hassle of selling privately. Would settle for a few hundred less to be rid of it.

    Cheers

Quite a few of the smaller garages would take a car and sell it for you for a fee. If you ask them to value the car and ask a price to sell it, you should be okay !

Thanks for the reply. I never thought of that approach.

Anybody any other experiences or info for me?

Cheers for that bigus! Any idea what sort of rates they charge on the sale price? Not on the site. But I might ring them

The max that would fetch at auction would be anywhere from 600-800 take home money. If you put it on donedeal for €1,100 and took a thousand it would be gone in no time, I'd imagine.

Sound thanks. Might just do that. Things are a bit hectic at the min so I was looking for an easy option. If I got a grand I'd be happy.

put a reserve of a grand on it including fees with belgardauctions , i know they'll do this

"you set reserve & they try to get their fees from the buyer"

    worked well for my sister
