I done a course last year in college from Sep 2010 to May 2011 and got the Back to ediucation allowance of 188 a week.

When my couse finished i went back on the X's and O's for the summer.

I Started a course this year in College and it says i was accepted onto the Back to education scheme for this year and i discoverd im only being payed 125.30 a week while i was being paid 188 a week last year.

So because i have a part time job am i not being paid the full amount(62.70 less than last year). I thought the BTEA was not Means tested.

Your probably still on JSA, do you get paid in the posh office? what does it say on the receipt? BTEA or JSA?

I was under the impression that BTEA was means tested actually. The lady I went to told me I was welcome to work as many hours as I liked while on BTEA, but to be aware that it would be taken into consideration for next year's application.
