Strange lights in sky? look like flares to me

    Just on liveline people were ringing in saying they saw strange lights in the sky this morning over Nass.



    look like flares from a military aircraft to me.

    Is the Aer Corp Casa fitted with these?
    Or was there some training exercise on?

    look like para flares of some sort? mortar flares maybe? they seem to be spiraling as they come down which looks familiar... but in daylight???

    There is a flare tube in each of the Casas but it could only be loaded one at a time, unless they simply chuck them off the ramp.
