    Hi all,

I have been getting JSA since July, I have been offered a 20 hour week contract in a retail shop. I don't know how many days they will have me working. I am wondering if I can still collect JSA, I know it would be reduced because I am not working many hours.

    Thanks

Call into your local office, there is a form for your employer and you to fill in.Get it back to the social welfare asap.

It not the hours that determine whether or not you will continue to receive JSA its the number of days. If you work more than 3 days excluding Sunday you will still receive some payment depending on a means test. As JSA is a means tested payment your earnings will be used to assess your new means.
