usb 16gb pen drive pq1

    purchased the above in peats november 2011
    worked fine until recently - now getting following error 0x80007045D when trying to add files to the drive or delete 2 folders that are on the drive, I cannot even format the drive. I can use my external hard disk fine no problems, but all of a sudden having this problem with the pen drive.

    my question is can this be fixed, and if not have i got a case to go back to peats with my receipt and look for a refund/ new pen drive........:mad::(:mad::(:mad::(

    You could try taking it back when exactly did you buy it.

    You'll have a 12 month guarantee from the shop. Some manufacturers include a limited lifetime warranty so that can be worth a shot as well.
