    Hi

I have built my computer today and am having a few problems. I would like to monitor my cpu temperature and would like to know is there any tools within windows 7 that would be useful for this. I have not came across it in the bios and just want to make sure my cpu is not overheating. Another problem i am having is that my hdmi cable does not seem to be showing up anything on my monitor but if i switch to vga it will work for me. as far as i am concerned the hdmi cable is making a good connection on both ends and i have never had trouble with it before. My main concern would be to keep an eye on the temperature of the cpu which i put sufficient thermal compound on but not too much (about a pea sized amount spread evenly over the cpu). any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Regards

    Colm Towey
