    No feedback on the laptop other than it seems ok but be sure to apply all the discounts going if you do get it.

    Also you could try to buy it through the employee group scheme www.dell.ie/epp to get another 2% off.

    Thanks very much. I wouldn't have known that. As a matter of interest, how did you know about that code?

    Edit: Forget that question, I've just seen it under "Performance Deals" on the Dell website.

    I bought a couple of XPSs myself recently and saw it. The codes come from the website itself. If you just click around a bit and try to access the page a couple of different ways it seems to insert a banner with the code. If you just go straight to the system and toss it in the basket they must figure you're easy money and don't bother to let you know about the code. ;)

    p.s. that code expires tomorrow but there always seems to be a new code.
