Have no idea of ratings and am catching up on the shows so far due to being on holiday the past few weeks but Ringer looks to be death list pending based on the first two episodes at any rate.

The weird thing is you can usually tell right off what's going down but so far this year seems good. I've seen Pan Am, 2 Broke Girls, New Girl and Ringer so far and Ringer only stood out. Last year I was right about Better with You. Couldn't get past the pilot. I was wrong about the Defenders. I really thought that deserved another shot but no doubt I'll be suprised this year too. At least nobody has done a 'Lone Star' this year anyway.

Lone Star's creator Kyle Killen new show 'Awake' is starting mid-season and does look VERY promising.

Wow. Powerful stuff. Very angsty but watchable. Plan to watch it. hopefully lots of other people will too.

There isn't a show like that out there at the moment so I hope it does well.

Has anyone some sort of list of shows that have made it to say three seasons this year and don't suck? I can't be having with watching a new series if it's going to last two months so I'm not bothering with anything until it's been renewed at least twice.

Basq...you know this is on NBC, on a Friday, it's serialised, it's very cable, it's too intelligent for US audiences.....ergo, cancelled after three episodes.

Well Friday's a dead night anyway is it not? Chuck's been sent there for its last season, maybe they're leaving it on Friday so that there's low expectations?

Interestingly enough the Simpsons is on rocky ground if the cast can't agree on a 45% paycut.

As much as I want The Simpsons to end, I do NOT want the Fox animation block to be nothing but Seth Macfarlane shows. Is Bob's Burgers coming back?
