does anybody know anything of this type of feed,
    • does it have any health risks,
    • is it only meant to be a supplement to bulk feed out,
    • what is it's intended use, (cow, sheep)
    • is it any good to fatten lambs, cull ewe's
any advice would be great thanks;)

I would imagine that its absolute rocket fuel. Especially the biscuit meal since it has sugar in it.

like everything else there ok at a price, i havent fed it but heres what i know.
both have a high ME value
both are high in fat/oil therefore are more suited to a ad lib diet (oil interferes with forage digestion) also bread is in and around 60% dm
biscuit meal is more variable, sometimes has the wrappers still on it,
also it really depends on how your purchasing it - i dont think it would be advisable to be holding either longer than a week - ten days tops
and a gradual introduction would be advisable

    hope this helps

with bread and biscuit meal you will cause acidosis if you feed too much of it as both ard wheat based

it is hard to say how much as it depends on the rest of the diet ie any other concentrate being used, about 0.5 kg of either would be plenty but it has to be introduced slowly. the biscuit meal may have a lot of chocolate in it which has a high oil content and can cause havoc in the rumen
