Hi - I've been told that there's a foundation course in C&P (100hours )starting in wexford town in a couple of weeks and I'm thinking about doing it. Has anyone any experience in doing one of these courses - has anyone done the one in wexford? Any advice or things I should ask about before signing up??

    Hi Azlan,
Do you mind me asking where this course is taking place?

    Hi Jingler,

It will be in the Maldron. The course is run by the International College for Personal and Professional Development - they are in Athlone - I've never heard of them before but the course sounds ok. http://www.icppd.com/index.php?page=foundation-course - what do you think?

I was thinking about doing the one in Gorey but after the icy weather last year was afraid I'd miss too much if we got the same this year.

    Hi Azlan,
If you decide to do this I'm sure you won't regret it!!! I don't know this particular course but the group process in these courses is amazing and you will learn a lot about yourself. If you're thinking about going further and training to be a counsellor/ psychotherapist, this would give you an insight into the work and a good overview of the differing types of therapy.
Best of luck with it all
