Critique of Routine

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone would be so kind as to critique this routine I'm thinking of following. I've been lifting on and off for the last four years, and made some pretty decent gains between last December and May using the Stronglifts 5x5. I followed Starting Strength for some time before that.

But to be honest I'm not particularly looking forward to embarking on another programme where I'm doing squats every other day at the gym, and would rather mix it up a little. It might be worth noting that noting that I do some martial arts training on Tuesday evenings.

So here's what I'm thinking of:

    All 8x3

    Monday
    Barbell Bench Press
    Dumbbell Bench Press
    Dips
    Bent-over Row
    Deadlift
    Pullup

    Wednesday
    Squat
    Front Squat
    Romanian Deadlift
    Calf Raises

    Friday
    Military Press
    Dumbbell Shoulder Press
    Upright Row
    Dumbbell Shrugs

Feel free to tear it apart, I'm pretty open to trying anything to be honest. I just want to get the most out of the time I put in.

    Thanks.

It looks like you're doing too much on Monday and Friday looks kinda pointless.

    Possible changes:

    All 8x3

    Monday
    Barbell Bench Press
    Dumbbell Bench Press
    Military Press
    Dips

    Wednesday
    Squat
    Front Squat
    Romanian Deadlift
    Calf Raises

    Friday
    Bent-over Row
Deadlift (in triples, doubles, or singles)
    Pullup
    Facepulls

Thanks KevinH. I was thinking that Monday looked a bit busy and Friday was a little light. It looks a bit more balanced now.

    Cheers!
