I bought a new road bike for training fro my first Tri last year. At the time of purchase I got clipless pedals put on the bike to go with the new bike shoes etc. The thing is now I want to start using the bike for commuting & don't want the hassle of bike shoes etc. Is it feasible to change pedals regularly i.e. Clipless for weekend & normal ones for midweek? Is there any such pedals that work for both?
    Thanks

You can get SPD pedals that have the clip on one side and regular pedals on the other. The shoes have a recessed clip in so you could use them for commuting as you can walk around in them.

I got pedals in cycle surgery in Dundrum that are both the clip and normal (i presume its the SPD one mentioned above - i've forgotten the name but that sounds familiar)
i think they cost me about 45 quid and i have used them in 4 tri's this summer and i also cycle to work every day. They work fine with normal runners and have decent grip on them

it feels a hell of a lot different though going from shoes clipped into the pedals to cycling with no support or hold on the pedal

Edit : just checked and these are the ones i got : http://www.cyclesurgery.com/shimano-m424-mtb-spd-pedal/pedals/bikes-components-bikewear/fcp-product/14836

No complaints at all so far
