    Guys,

I am getting into clay shooting. I am doing skeet at the moment and I need to get some glasses.

Stands 1 and 7 are the most dangerous and what has been pointed out to me is that it only takes once to lose an eye.

    What would you recommend?

Would need changeable lenses but need to keep cost down also.

Dev this will cause some debate as like guns you can pay alot for something as simple as "Safety Glasses" there are lenses that make clays stand out better against certain backgrounds ete etc etc. If your only starting stay cost effective.

Ye I taught it might cause some debates but from my searches on here I couldn't find anything that would help me.

    I would pay max €100.

It is expensive enough trying to buy cartridges and clays so need to try keep any gear cost effective so I can still shoot.

What do you make of the TopGun glasses? Is there enough lenses for all different light conditions?

    Dev,

You can get perfectly good Bolle safety glasses in most hardwares for around €10 a pair. I know they're not proper shooting glasses - but all you have to do is look at the impact marks on the high house and low house from clay fragments to see why glasses are a must for skeet.

Get some decent safety glasses to keep you going if you can't decide on a proper pair of shooting ones.

I'm just going to fork out money this week for a pair a decent glasses.

Last week I was waiting to shoot station 7 (low house) and the guy ahead of me shot the clay and the middle of the clay came straight for two of us! Glasses won't have saved much there!

    Still didn't stop me shooting a 23/25 ;)
