Big help needed with MS Word

    The disk is full trying to write to C:. Free some space to this drive or save the document on another disk

    try one or more of the following
    close any unneeded documents, programs, and windows.
    save the document on another disk

    That is the problem im having. Iv plenty of space on my hard drive and tried a usb key but no luck. Im a bit livid because its a very important document I need saved :(

    Really would appreciate some help please

    As an interim measure, you could try Send on the File menu and email it to yourself - eg a Gmail account. I do this anyway with important documents as a an extra precaution. You can then restart your PC and try saving it after a reboot.

    When you try to copy the file, what error message comes up? Can you put up a screenshot of the error message? Also, where are you trying to save the document?

    a very good free program called ccleaner will clean all that up without you having to do a thing except click clean now. excellent software.

    if you want it click the latest version up top right. http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner

    your hard drive space is low so that program will clean it up nicely, also do a disk cleanup as that will remove a lot of backed up rubbish you do not need.

    thanks lads for the help

    I managed to get it going myself thou

    I copied and paste everything on to another document and it saved for me thank god

    I was suprised it was able to copy everything exactly like the original since there was alot of tables and diagrams etc

    Was a work application form it was, so id be in big trouble if I couldnt save it
