The usual places like pubs and joining clubs and organisations, etc.
Most gay guys aren't looking for a relationship though and are just on the prowl for the next big thing, but you might have some luck.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

A lot are for sure but I'm not quite sure if most are. There are always threads on here from guys looking for relationships

I think he is right it can be very fickle 10 years in London teaches you that if nothing else lol

But there are guys who want something more than just the dog for company it's just where to go to find them. It also has to be said that there are some who pose as guys looking for more and then it turns out they just want a shag :-(

I went on a couple of dates recently and after the second one got an SMS "are we ever going to f**k" ... there was no third date

Dunno, maybe you just attract the wrong sort lads. If you are only looking on places like gaydar or grindr, then yea there are plenty who only want a shag.

But I know i want a bit more than that and I've met many more like me as well. Maybe you need to look at the type of guys you look for or where you're looking for them.

That said, I know it's probably harder living in Kildare than in Dublin as not as many outlets.

I'm not sure what age you are but your best bet is to probably try making it to Dublin once in a while to sample the scene there as well as dabbling in some online dating. Look at it this way; you're probably better off without many of the guys around anyway! :p
