Ocassionaly when I start my car, instead of turning the engine over when i move the key to start position it makes clicking noises & the rev counter / dials swing back and forth, like its possesed. So I turn the key to the off position and turn again and it starts fine -its been doing it 8 months ,maybe a year - Any ideas what that might be, The battery is fine Ive tested it and I also have a spare - Happens on both batts. Ill try record a video of it . Very odd - has anyone had this issue, Focus 1.4 00 :eek: Thanks

That model focus has a common problem of loose wiring around tge steering coloum where the key goes.but if its not that it sounds very very like a dodgy solinied on the starter motor
