It's not a hotel... Just a pub... And it's in a pretty rough area of Corduff.

Ah it's not too bad, there hasn't been a murder there since '03.

No murders, but a few attempted ones!

I wouldn't be inclined to hang around drinking after the exhibition. Plenty of other pubs in the area...

If you want reccomendations just shout.

Let's call a spade a spade. The Brookwood Inn is a local pub and like any local pubs it has had it's fair share of incident's but nothing in recent years.

You'll love to see Barney in November if the previous dart exhibition is anything to go by. What a night.

May I also say, you'll never see a local like it if your up for a a laugh and a good night.

5 time world champion for one night only.

I'd suggest having a look at the place on google maps street view so you have some idea where you are headed.

thanks very much for the input guys. yes i really want to see Barney, huge Barney Army. My intention is to stay 1 night in that area, go see Barney, have some rest at hotel and go home in the morning. There'll be no drinking or hanging in any pub as I dont want to + I dont drink. so if theres any good and safe accomodation about, id appreciate the recommendation.

i dont want to miss Barney again if i can help it, i missed him when he was in Portarlington.

Diddler1997, thx for the link, ill check it out.

Your choices are limited if you are wanting to be beside the bar.

    10 min taxi/car ride are

    Crowne Plaza
    Castleknock hotel
    12th lock

On the Naven road is the Travel Lodge.

I dont know of anywhere else.

Thie nearest would be the crown plaza.
    Or the Carlton.

Cheapest would prob be the travel lodge but it is the farthest away.

Or you could just stay in the city, the bus to town leaves just across the road from the pub.

Stay in the travel lodge if your staying on the cheap.

    it'll cost you €10 in a taxi.

pm me for anything you need, you'll be fine.
I spoke to a few people last night, the tournament is being ran by the football club in Corduff. You will have no problems believe me and you will enjoy it.
