we all of little things we enjoy that we look forward to and help us get through a hard day or week. it is great to have things we enjoy to look forward to like a holiday or something big, but the little things are usually the best.

    my examples

i love a nice pasta bake with sausages and rashers when i get home from college, flop down into an armchair and watch a episode of top gear :D

taking my dog for a walk on a mild evening and stopping off at the shop for a ice cream or something :pac:

having the house to myself on a saturday parents and brothers sister gone out, so i can have a naked **** in my room and not be scared of somebody coming into my room without nocking

getting a coffee with a few old friends and walking through town watching people going about there day

So what little thing do you look forward to?

Settling down with a nice glass of fermented grape, 4 squares of very rich dark chocolate and hearing the theme to Downton Abbey and knowing the whole family will leave me alone for the next hour or so:D:D:D

Watching a stream of the rugby with a nature valley bar in one hand and a hot cup of coffee in the other, trying not to spill it all over the place and also trying to forget the fact that I'm in work.

Ireland verse probably Wales in the world cup quarter final, we are really looking good.

But on the grounds I kept being pessimistic for Dublin's prospect for the all Ireland, I will refuse to be to optimistic. Irish rugby like Dublin GAA have a tendency to break my heart.

    Looking forward to:

Ireland winning the Rugby World Cup on 23/10 and the country going wild for 3 weeks .... only then for the Rep.of.Ireland to qualify for Euro 2012 and thereby overshadowing that aforementioned 'achievement' by qualifying for a sporting event that the world actually cares about.

Really little thing : Taking my shoes off when I get home. I love being barefoot.

Little thing : That extra hour or two in bed on Saturday.

'Big' little thing : Eating one of those Crunchie icepops at the end of the day. They're the only real junk food I eat and they are amazing. I've a collection of at least 300 icepop sticks in my bedroom bin at this stage :D

A half-dozen bottles of ginger beer after college on a wednesday.

Learning a skillful little trick while juggling or unicycling (after being stuck for ages).

Finishing all my reports and feeling like a God.
