Hi, I got the oil in today and fired up the heating and bled all the rads. The problem is that one of them is leaking at the nut.

When I tried to open the bleed screw the whole nut opened also and now it wont close flush and it is leaking. I tried opening it completely which was great fun as I hadn't turned the water off to that rad :)

Any ideas or do I just need a rubber washer ??

you probably just need a grips or adjustable spanner to tighten the big nut.

A new rubber o ring or a few turns of thread tape should sort the problem, don't forget to close both valves when repairing the leak.

Thanks but it could not be any tighter.
