2011 Tax Question

    Just a very quick one.

My wife is self-employed and I'm just trying to calculate her tax liability before we file. I'm pretty sure I'm ok with 2010. She's under the thresholds for the income and health levies. She'll be liable for €253 PRSI as 3% of her income would be less than this. And her personal tax credit will cover her income tax liability.

With regard to 2011 and the changes with the USC and that I just have a couple of questions.

Did the USC replace all levies and PRSI or just the levies. If so, what would she be liable for this year? Her income will all be within the 2% rate for the USC and she'll owe a little bit of income tax. Is there anything else I need to know or is it just the PRSI thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
