    hi any comments on cembrit jutland slates,are they a good fibre slate ,any advice would be helpful

    Be carefull before you buy any fibre cement slate in Ireland. Always ask for manufactures guarantees. Tegral and Svk are the only manufactures supplying in Ireland all other manufactures use 3rd parties/agencies. My brother is a roofer and won't use Jutland slates he doesn't like them! Everyones different!

    Would agree with Dmaximum. I was a sales rep for a leading builders merchants in ireland for over 30 years and have seen and sold all types of slate. The irish manufacturers which are well suited to our wet/damp climate. They are also up the road if you have a problem. Most imported fibre slates imported into ireland do not stand up to the climatic conditions, they are exported to dryer countries where you wont have a problem
