    Hi,considering buying rav4 2005 2ltr diesel,has 115k miles. Full service history. Is there anything to look out for apart from obovious things. Are they hard on diesel and tyres being constant 4x4

    Be careful, not all are 4x4. Make sure you check.

    All the Diesels are 4wd


    OP, unless you're towing or off roading or specifically need 4wd, a 1.8 2wd will get similar mpg and is a whole load less risky mechanically. Turbos, injectors, dual mass flywheels all cost big money if/when they go wrong.
