Strange that you haven't got that answer from your phsyio.....asssuming you have been assigned one, or at least advised to contact one ?? Really you need to be asking them rather than an internet forum after a serious surgery like ACL. It depends on what type of surgical repair was done, the condition of the joint before you went under the knife etc but suffice to say you have a long road ahead of you. Best of luck with it and contact a physio or physical therapist pronto if you haven't already done so.

Have you actually spoken to a Physio/ surgeon about this OP or are you just looking for anecdotal stories?
