Not a big fan of Groundhog Day, too repetitive. Good movie though.

If Cork had an event centre I would go with Cork but it doesn't so I'm not sure.

Less Fianna fail voters in Belfast so I'll go with that.

Belfast is only city I haven't been in yet so I cant judge it from any visit and I live in Cork but I'll still go with Belfast due to its larger population and industry base, I presume it has more of a city feel to it than Cork with a better nite life and it also has a larger catchment area with several towns/cities within easy reach as once you leave Cork the next city or large town is Limerick over 50 miles away leaving Cork isolated, Don't get me wrong I like Cork Its a lovely city but I don't think its going to grow much anytime soon and I reckon Belfast has greater potential.

Due the clowns at City Hall, They just don't know where to place the event centre, Horgans Quay, South Main Street and Mahon are the 3 preferred locations.

Spent a night in Cork city once. It was really ****ing scary.
I only felt safe when I bumped into a bunch of mad young fellas from Dublin.

Went out with a chick from Belfast. She turned out to be a ****ing lunatic.
I could go on for hours about her and her tubgirl obsession, but my experiences in both Cork city and County were far worse.

Was out a couple of nights in Belfast and the nightlife wasn't much to speak of tbh. Cork would be better for night life in my estimation.

I really hope they get the event centre up and running so we can get some good gigs, boxing, UFC/MMA nights etc which we don't have here at the moment.

Bloody disgrace and a personal bugbear of mine that we didn't get a good venue here.

I was at MMA out in the Rochestown Park Hotel last month was a great night, they do Thai boxing in the Springs as well. Could do with more gigs all right but at the least the Marquee usually throws up one or two good ones and Cypress Avenue and the Pavillion usually have a good one every now and again. Don't see why Pairc ui chaoimh isn't used more often either, didn't Oasis play there before?
