    Hey there all,

I'm just looking for your ideas - I got a fab new dress to wear to a black tie event but could with some ideas as to what colour shoes or sandals to wear with it!!

The dress is floor length and is a sort of turquoise blue that fades into brown and back to blue with beading all over it - i know I'm not doing a good job describing it!!!

Do I go for a brown or blue and would I be better with shoes (peeptoe) or sandals? Btw the girl in the shop suggested pewter!

Looking forward to hearing your ideas!!

Any chance you could post a pic? I had the same situation had a dress i thought it was Khaki but in different lights people say its brown/mink/pewter!

I ended up gettin pewter shoes by chance, however the girl said they got six varieties of pewter shoes and none were the same colour!

pewter is great, had a pair recently for a wedding with an orangy dress they just go with anything without being all matchy matchy!

Im not about the colour shoe as id really need to see the dress, can u post a pic? But make sure u are wearng a block colour shoe. Also if there is alot going on in d dress which it sounds like there is, i woud make sure the shoe is understated.. Perhaps a peep toe stiletto type... In black(would really have to see dress to be sure about the colour though)
