What is involved in going to a pain specialist? What tests will be carried out? Will there be full bloods etc as in general consultant appts. Not looking for advice but just what it entails

Heya, the first meet is no big deal, big chat about why you've been referred, where the pain is and how it originated. Most likely you'll be given a questionnaire type of thing which asks you to indicate where the pain is, what aggravates and eases it, what medications you're currently on and any other treatments (physio etc) you may have undergone. Hope this helps.
