    Need your help lads...

I am planning on buying a new telly, one of them LED types.

Thing is though one of the main reasons is I want to watch my Gamepass on it. Gamepass is HD as far as I know and the telly is too. My laptop has a HDMI output and the telly will have it too.

Anyone doing this today?. Is it easy to do?. Is it just a case of HDMI to HDMI?.

What if the telly can be connected to the internet?. Can you stream direct to the telly i.e. take laptop out of the question?.

I am so not a techie, would really appreciate the help with this thanks.

You need the laptop, if you have a HDMI out then just connect it to your tv with a HDMI cable. It should be fine.

Thanks. HDMI does video and audio then?. I've heard some say it only does video which I was surprised to hear.

No, HDMI does both, VGA only does video, HDMI is by far the simplest solution.
