You know in MS Word where autocorrect really helps you out with spelling and grammar, capitalisation etc - can you get something like this for the browser, preferably chrome?

If anyone remembers when Google came out with Wave it had some really brilliant intelligence to correct your typing, where the hell id that ever go and is there anything similar to it around for general usage?

You can get dictionaries at least for firefox I know that will correct your spelling (firefox just got underlined in that sentence!). Just search for English dictionary in firefox add ons. It will underline anything you type on any web page that's not in the dictionary.

I use SRWares Iron browser, based on Chrome so I guess it's the same process.

In Options - Under the hood there should be a language default setting. You can add\remove language packs there. Works for me, but will only highlight text you've entered, not existing text on a page.
