Any recommendations for books out there such as "The triathlete's training bible" that would be worth buying??

For running...Pfitzinger and Douglas is pretty good. Lots of detail on programmes and schedules and lots of accessible science. It's not aimed at novices, more at people who want to "run a better marathon". It's on my kitchen table (not that you'd know it from my log).

Thanks for the reply, It's more towards triathlon's / IM books i'd be looking for.
Completed sprint and oly. distance tri's this year and lookin to move up to HIM distance next year and so on.

Not a multi sport athlete but dip in and out of the threads from time to time and from what I have seen two regular reccomendations that come up are Joe Friels The triathlete's training bible and Don Finks BeIronFit

Maybe one of the Tri lads can come along and give more insight

Fair play to ya, thats a great help. maybe dont bother posting if you have nothing to add good man.

I think he was helping considering your ambiguous thread title the change might help actually get posters reading the thread (and he was actually the one who changed it for you). No need to be so snappy to people who are actually helping you get the advice you require.

No need to be like that, anyone who has posted has been helpful...
