S1155 CPU coolers

    This may be a stupid question... but I haven't seen many CPU coolers that list compatibility with socket 1155 cpus? will they fit if they're 1156 compatible? or is it just that there's not much of a choice?

    for example... would these coolers fit a 2500k?

    Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus

    Corsair A50


    PS anyone recommend either? or something else? will be overclocking mildly on air until i get my watercooling solution sorted

    Yes anything that fits an LGA1156 socket is compatible with LGA1155. Both of those would work no problem.

    At those prices the A50 is the best value.
    Edit: Nevermind, shipping puts it above the 212+ :(
