executor query

    If someone was next of kin and there was no will would they be expected to be executor ? If so, who would they tell they did not want that role?

    If there is no will then there is no executor and the estate is distributed according to the laws of intestacy (no will made)

    An administrator. Anyone who is is beneficiary can apply for a grant of administration.
