Replacing Mercedes Badge

I want to replace the front spring mounted badge on my husband's '99 E200.

Is this easy enough to do yourself? I can get one on ebay but how would I determine which model I would need? I have googled but can't seem to find it (it's probably staring me in the face!).

Any help appreciated. I don't want to bring it to a garage to get done because it'll probably just get pulled back off again!

    Thanks :)

(Mods, I did try to search boards but couldn't find anything, please merge if I missed something)

Open your hood. Then hold onto your emblem with one hand and use a metal tool of any sort to twist the thing from the inside, twist it counter-clockwise... I just did it today...

So you'll see a spring in the middle, on the outside and most bottom part of the emblem there is two U shaped metal parts sticking out, that's what you need to twist. Grab it with pliers some how...

Ebay is full of them and here actually is one guy on adverts.ie selling them as well. Look into motor parts section and type mercedes in the search box.
For ebay you can search by typing in W210 hood emblem. They are all the same within W210 range doesn't matter what engine car has.

I struggled to get a badge for my car last year, for the same reasons, I couldn't pin point what was what by looking at photos etc.

So got on to http://www.partfinder.ie/ and got it really cheap in the end.

Good advice , many look similar but they are in fact different.
