The RTE Digital channels have gone in Galway. I noticed this morning all the channels were gone even though I still had a 90% Signal on screen, an Hour later I had no signal at all. My Signal is been received for the last 3 months from Tonabrocky HERE I rang Soarview this morning and the girl told me I had to point my Aerial to Maghera as that was my problem. I asked how come I have been receiving all the channels perfectly for the last 3 months from Tonabrocky?? Her answer - I don't know... but you should have your aerial pointed to Maghera. I left my number with her to ring me if she found out anything else and about 5 minutes ago I received a call back from Saorview explaining that there are planned works happening at Mahera (Where Tonabroky gets it's signal from) for the next 2 days and the service will be down during this time with it coming back intermittently. So if your like me wondering whats up with your Digital box or TV? Nothing.. The service is just down for the next 2 days for planned works.

    Relief :D

Tell the silly bint to update their Aertel page to include slave transmitter outages, I assume Casla and Clifden are fed the same way.

I didn't see the page at the time but it now says:

"This essential work will affect all Saorview DTT services from our Maghera transmitter and all associated relay stations. The analogue services of TV3 and TG4 from Maghera and associated relay stations will be affected."
