Hi everyone, got the ends of my dark brown hair dipped about two weeks ago. The bright raspberry red looked fab for about a day the hairdresser swore it wouldn't fade but of course it did!

I lashed in a bit of XXl real red dye to no avail. I bought jeans colour in chilli from terri sales and while it is not bad I am having to use it every second time I wash my hair. I put this colour in on Friday and it looked good but now its faded after two washes to a rusty orange red. (doesnt matter what shampoo I use, it fades!) Just wondering would a different shade of jeans colour be better or would crazy colour be any use? Or am I better just to buy something like fudge online? any advice appreciated!!

Unfortunately, there's not a lot you can do about the fading aside from just not washing your hair. What you can do though maybe is get a red dye that fades to pink like Fire from Crazy Colour. At least it won't turn coppery and you'll get a few more weeks out of it :) I have Magenta from Jeans Colour and it's fairly crappy!

Brill thanks I will pop up and grab some crazy colour at lunch. Yeah the jeans colour is not great is it? It fades fast and the faded colour is not nice
