    Hi all,

I have recently become OCD about my music collection and have gone through the horrible process of tagging, organizing an application independent folder structure and getting album art for my 1000s of albums. The last thing I wanna look into is lyrics.

However all of the tools for this purpose seem to be a bit old and/or discontinued.

Are any of you using a tool / plugin and can you recommend it?

    Thanks

Are lyrics not subject to copyright, in which case there will not be any legitimate applications for providing them.

But there are plenty of sites on the internet for lyrics as well as a number of independent tools to scrape these sites?

I use MiniLyrics, it works with Winamp and Windows Media Player. It's a little buggy at times but it has a large lyric database where you can get synchronised or non-synchronised lyrics for your favourite songs. You can even make your own lyrics too.

It seems that there isn't one tool that everybody agrees on. The common consensus is to run your library through one tool and then run it through another and another until it finds lyrics for all your tracks. These are the ones I have been recommended and/or found online
