Skybox keeps going widescreen - help!

    go onto the picture menu on ur tv and turn off automatic picture settings if it has one.

    you need to set up the tv, set it to 16/9 not auto.

    TV should be set to Auto, the Sky box should be set to 16:9. This should make programmes made in 4:3 be displayed in this way with black borders at the left and right and widescreen programming displayed full screen or with black bars at the top and bottom depending on the aspect ratio.

    The channel is irrelevant, what programme is this happening on? Some are old programmes recorded in 4:3 so they will look small on the TV, this isn't an error, it's how it's supposed to look.
