receiving picture messages on s2 with meteor

    whenever i receive a picure message on my galaxy s2 a little box comes up with the size of the message,expiry date and an option to download. when i press on download it says downloading and then nothing seems to happen. where can i view these pictures?

    Did you purchase if from meteor?
    Have you send the mms settings to the phone from the meteor site?
    Can you send them ok?

    yeah bought it from meteor.
    no havent sent the mms settings to the phone from meteor site.


    a day after i got the phone i received a message from meteor saying you will soon receive free meteor wap and mms settings for your phone and i was to accept the settings straight away which i did and then got a message saying my phone was now setup to enjoy meteor services.

    should that not be me setup???

    I have the same problem, except my phone is a Nokia 6700. Have all the settings installed. No mms:confused: Also with Meteor.

    I can receive them in data network mode but cant when im useing wifi. Bit strange. Only hav 1gb of data a month so not very useful.

    You dont use wifi for mms. The data used to send or receive mms doesn't count as part as your 1gb allowance.

    so does your phone have to be in data network mode to receive mms then??

    yes, it uses a specific connection.
