gevey ultra 4.3.5 / sim applications

    hi all

    so i got a gevey ultra and it killed my phone first attempt
    had to use 4.3.5 to get it going again (its was 4.3.3)

    so anyway it says that you can use the 4.3.5
    with the manual method but this involves
    there being "sim applications" in settings // phone
    which i do not have!

    i also jailbroke it to try that way and its not happening
    the jailbreak worked, the furiousmod worked but
    i still have no network

    any tips welcome, ive done a lot of reading
    but im stumped
