Looking for 1.0-1.3 - Less > €800 Dublin

Lads I havnt a clue what half the jargon on the posts are but im trusting you's if you I coudl ask for your help... Im looking for a motor.... 1.0 - 1.3 engine... 3dr/5dr, small/medium first time driver less that €800, manual or automatic.
I had a Mit Mirage/colt 1998 Auto lined up for €500 but seems to be the lady wont see even thought its been parked up for 2years now. So somethign along these lines would be excellent.

Based in Sth Dublin willing to travel to most of Leinster. North Wicklow/Wexford/Dublin/Kildare/Meath/W.Meath etc...

Any bargains you've seen I'll be greatful for some of your recommendations! cheers!

1.3 starlet's a good bet (better power than the 1 litre, for todays driving conditions, unless you're constantly in a city 1 litre cars are extremely underpowered and inadequate for dual carriageway/motorway use as you have to be flooring it to get up to speed for entering the roads etc and driving too slowly on a motorway or dual carriageway can be as dangerous as going too fast, you wont be on motorways though if you're on learner permit). You won't get an immaculate example for less than 800 but you should be able to get a tidy enough one with a reasonable amount of NCT left. Though for first time drive make sure it's an irish spec one not a jap import.

The garage opposite deansgrange cemetery always has very cheap motors with nct. I think it's Paul smith motors, he's a mechanic selling on the side.
