Thought ITV might have a match, oh well.

Dont think ITV have rights on any of the Tuesday night group games, only Wednesday like RTE2. Hate watching matches on TV3.

Haha, yeah just realised. Sure I read somewhere they were switching to Tuesday, but just double checked it and not for another year apparently.

Early game ended with Zenit beating 10 man Porto 3-1.

Very lively start to the Milan Plzen game. Bakoš almost scored from a header after three mins, great stop by Abbiati. It's been all Milan since then though.

    1-0 Marseille and 2-0 Barca

2 0 in the Barcelona v Bate game. First was an own goal and the second was a nice header by Pedro after a ball floated in from David Villa on the left.

Oooh, point blank save by Cech from Ibrahimovic..very open game, end to end at the moment, Milan looking more likely to score.

    MESSI!

Goalkeeper fumbles and Messi nods it in.

Milan cut open by some great short passing by Plzen, Horváth misses a great chance to put them one up.

Penalty to Milan, stuck by Ibrahimovic in the bottom left. Slightly harsh on Plzen as it looked to come off the players arm rather than a deliberate action.

Messi again! Left footed shot, very neat.

Becomes Barça's joint second top scorer of all time. Now level with Ladislau Kubala's total of 194. Barca's top scorer is Cesar Rodriguez, who scored 235 goals from 1942 to 1955.

If he's free from injuries he'll do it next season... or even this season if he keeps going the way he is

2-0 to Milan, through ball from Ibrahimovic and a dink over the keeper from Cassano.

To think it's only taken Messi a fraction of the time to do that too.

And he'll probably go on to score a helluva lot more too... just hope he's had his time with major injuries and is injury free for the next 10 or so years. Not all that likely though :/

I'll be very surprised if he goes through the next 10 years relatively injury free. There will be one bad minded player who will feel the only way to deal with him is take him out of it. Almost happened last season with his ankle. How it didn't break I'll never know...

Oh I know... I'm just hopeful :p Plenty of hatchet men out there to keep him on his toes and try and injure him. Pepe, Marcelo and Arbeloa have had their fair share of attempts in the last number of Classicos

Ujfalusi was the player you're on about

Fcuk knows how he wasn't injured after that

    5 0 Barcelona.

    David Villa.

Mandanda has been excellent for Marseille. Dortmund really disappointing..
Barrios comes on and hits the bar. A massive positive him returning from injury.

edit - Apoel Nicosia top Group G with 4 points  Some going. Thought they'd do well at home but never thought they'd have any chance v Shaktar away.
