I think this is a good idea and I hope the matches get a crowd

I think ireland really needs the club level to progress, especially given our small numbers

hmmm I double header "family day" may have been a better option but hopefully they can get enough support in, however as has been seen with scottish rugby tiny crowds at big venues can kill the atmosphere which may not be the best introduction to club rugby for new spectators

Delighted to see this. About time irish club rugby got some bit of tv coverage even if it is just an online stream.

    yes its a risk

I once attended a match played on the main pitch in the old lansdowne road stadium between wanderers and sundays well

there were more players and coaching staff than spectators I'd say

Yeah something like that would be good. I dont like the way the GAA do it with 2 big games that would sell big numbers on their own meaning some people probably lose out, but with 2 games that will probably only pull a fraction of capacity each, its ideal.

Nice to see Ross McCarron still playing. He could have been a solid enough player at Pro12 level before walking away.

Those days in the GAA are long gone.

    Good idea, why not...

Lansdowne v Shannon in February will get a reasonably good atmosphere in there.
